PCLC Thomas Pride 9227 was purchased as the high selling cow in the 1150 head Iron Mountain Angus whole herd dispersion in 2017. At eight years old, she had proven herself there as a consistent producer with excellent fertility, mothering ability and phenotypical structure. This cow was chosen to be the cornerstone of our herd. To date she has produced over 150 embryos. She is pictured above at two different times of year, in her working clothes. On dormant South Dakota grass plus two pounds of cake in December 2019 where she was bred naturally, and again with said natural calf in in Nebraska sandhills in October 2020.
These three incredible flush sisters have formed the base for our Charolais program. They combine the genetics of Lindskov-Thiel’s phenomenal LT Reward 2348 PLD and the cow power of WCR Ms Duke 6025 P/S who was one of the top selling cows in “The Legacy Sale” from the heart of the Weink Charolais program, these ladies proliferate the best that the Charolais breed has to offer in elite performance and carcass value genetics. Look for their offspring as a staple in our annual bull sale.
